The Solar Alliance has signed a $ 750,000 contract to develop a solar project in Kentucky

Solar Alliance Energy Inc. signed a contract to design and build a 500 kW solar project for a commercial client in Kentucky. The $ 750,000 capital project will be powered by more than 1,000 Cat solar modules and is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.

“The Solar Alliance team continues to deliver quality, cost-effective solar projects to our customers, and this has led to an increase in contract signing in 2022,” says CEO Mike Clark. “With the addition of this project, the indebtedness of Solar Alliance projects under contracts now exceeds $ 5,000,000. This growth is driven by our transition to larger solar projects with commercial and utility customers over the past two quarters. We will continue to pursue a balanced strategy – high growth for third-party customers combined with recurring solar asset revenues that we own – that scales and supports our goal of becoming the leading commercial and industrial solar supplier in the United States. ”

The project is the latest, built in partnership with Boyd CAT, an authorized Cat solar equipment dealer for businesses and contractors in Kentucky, South Indiana, West Virginia and Southeast Ohio.

To date, Boyd CAT and the Solar Alliance have collaborated on several projects, including a completed 1 MW solar project for Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company, and a 1 MW project for the Knoxville Utilities Council to be built in this year.
