Motorola Edge 30 is the first device with a Snapdragon 778G + processor in India. On the other hand, the Edge 20 is based on the Snapdragon 778G chipset. You get a MyUX based on Android 12 on the Edge 30, and the Edge 20 runs on Android 11. In addition, the 4020 mAh battery charges the Motorola Edge 30 and comes with TurboPower 33W charging support. While the Edge 20 has a smaller battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh with support for a fast charge of 30 watts.

For images, the Edge 30 Pro offers a triple rear camera, including a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the other hand, the Edge 20 has a 108-megapixel main lens, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom support. For selfies both have a 32 MP camera sensor on the front.

Both the Motorola Edge 30 and Edge 20 have decent specs at asking prices. The new one has an upgraded processor, slim design and fast charging. However, the predecessor has good camera characteristics. So if you’re already using the Motorola Edge 20, you don’t need to change it. However, if you are now planning to purchase a mid-range device, the Edge 30 may be a good choice for less than Rs. Segment 30,000.
