Mahindra Logistics Objectives May result in 100% acquisition of Meru Companies


Third-party logistics solutions provider Mahindra Logistics said Friday that closure requirements for the full acquisition of paid-in share capital of Meru Mobility Tech Private Limited, V-Link Automotive Services Private Limited and V-Link Fleet Solutions Private Limited of Meru Travel Solutions Private Limited (MTSPL ) is still ongoing.

The same will be completed by the end of May 2022, the company said. Previously, the formalities were scheduled to be completed by February 2022.

Mahindra Logistics is also going to acquire 100 percent of MTSPL’s paid-up share capital from Mahindra & Mahindra Limited.

Upon completion of the acquisition, MMTPL, VASPL, VFSPL and MTSPL will become subsidiaries of Mahindra Logistics and will remain subsidiaries of M&M, the company said in a statement.

MTSPL is a holding company and through its 3 subsidiaries MMTPL, VASPL, VFSPL works both in the travel segment and in the field of corporate transport solutions.

MTSPL, MMTPL, VASPL and VFSPL together are called Meru companies.

Through this acquisition, the company expects to invest in Meru Companies in order to expand its presence in the common mobile space and consolidate mobile business ownership, expanding the range of mobile solutions with a strategic focus on corporate customers and electric mobility, the company. said.
