The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are said to have slightly larger screen sizes compared to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. This difference in screen size was apparently caused by Apple’s alleged decision to get rid of the notch and add a narrow bezel. It is assumed that these iPhone models have a tablet-shaped hole for storing the front camera and Face ID sensors. Apple has not yet officially released any information regarding the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The hint comes from the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) Ross Young, who claims in tweet that the iPhone 14 Pro will have a screen size of 6.12 inches as opposed to a screen size of 6.06 inches iPhone 13 Pro. In addition, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a screen size of 6.69 inches compared to a screen size of 6.68 inches. iPhone 13 Pro Max. Young further adds this Apple can offer the same screen sizes as the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max with the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max respectively.
Similar statements have been made recently report, which shows the alleged CAD render of the iPhone 14 Pro. This visualization shows how the expected tablet-shaped expression can appear on this smartphone along with a narrow frame.
There were several others leaks regarding the iPhone 14 Pro recently. It is expected to be a new generation Apple A16 Bionic chip. On the other hand, a regular iPhone 14 may have an A15 Bionic chip that is currently running iPhone 13 and iPhone SE (2022). The iPhone 14 is expected to have a 120Hz ProMotion display. It can be equipped with upgraded Lightning connectors that can provide USB 3.0 transfer rate (5 Gbps).
