Fallen Order 2 may be called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, rumors of a release date in 2023


The next Star Wars Jedi game doesn’t actually have an official name yet, but most people call it Jedi Star Wars: Pali Order 2. According to the latest rumors, the game will be called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and will be released at some point during the first three months of 2023.

EA and developer Respawn have only ever called the game the next name Star Wars Jedi. However, Jeff Grab claimed his latter Grubbsnax podcast to hear the official title of the game. He almost left without releasing the title yet Member of the Giant Bomb communitys colonelsanders21 guessed it at the end of the show. Apparently, the real name of the game will be Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, although Hornbeam has not clarified in more detail. You can see the full podcast below.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is expected to be released in the first three months of 2023. The game was originally expected to be released from October to December 2022, but has been postponed. Earlier, Hornbeam claimed that the mysterious “chief IP” that was mentioned in EA’s presentation on financial gains was Survivor. It is one of five games to be released in the final quarter along with the new PGA Tour game, Super Mega Baseball 4, Dead Space Remake and an unknown “partner”. EA has not yet confirmed either the name of the game or the release box, so take this with a pinch of salt until they make a statement.

In other news Square Enix will focus on this year’s “big franchise” as expected Final Fantasy given that this is the 35th anniversary of the first game. Elsewhere SEGA plans to release more remakes and remasters during the next fiscal year.
