Danish stocks rose at the close; The OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.63%, Investing.com reports

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the trade and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the gain added 0.63%, hitting a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE: ), which rose 3.91% or 595.00 points to trade at 15,820.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/SA (CSE: ) added 3.56% or 520.00 points to trade at 15,140.00 and Bank Jyske A/S (CSE: ) was up 1.90% or 7.60 points to 408.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE 🙂 ), which fell 2.81% or 4.65 points to trade at 160.60 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE: ) declined 1.75% or 11.00 points to 618.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE: ) declined 1.61% or 6.50 points to 397.90.

On the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, advancers outnumbered decliners (95 to 62), while 11 stocks were unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery fell 1.65%, or 1.45, to $86.45 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent crude for January delivery fell 1.23%, or 1.15, to $92.62 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.26%, or 4.35, to $1,640.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK rose 0.85% to 7.53, while EUR/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

US dollar index futures rose 0.74% to 111.42.
