“In London in the 1950s, plans for a film version of a grand play come to an abrupt halt after a key crew member is murdered,” reads the film’s synopsis. “When a world-weary inspector and an impatient rookie constable take on the case, they find themselves thrown into a mysterious unit in the glamorously seedy world of underground theater, investigating a mysterious murder at their own peril.”
