Researchers from the University of Maine have found that a diet similar to the Mediterranean diet is associated with lower blood pressure in US adults.

The study was published in the Journal of Clinical Hypertension and was conducted by Fayeza Ahmed et al.

Maintaining healthy blood pressure is a key component of a healthy lifestyle.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death, and high blood pressure is a leading risk factor for cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

The Mediterranean diet has been associated with a number of health benefits, including anti-inflammatory properties.

Several studies have also linked a medical diet to lower blood pressure, but many have used blood pressure readings that are self-reported, which are often unreliable.

Moreover, many studies have not sufficiently taken into account additional variables that need to be considered when studying hypertension.

In addition, in the populations of the Mediterranean, many studies have been conducted to study the diet and risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

Diet may be less effective in populations of the United States where a medical diet is not common for the culture.

In the study, the team examined the relationship between the Med diet and blood pressure in a sample of older (mean age 62.2 years) women and men living in the United States.

They found a strong association between higher levels of medical diet and lower levels of systolic and diastolic blood pressure among those who consumed larger amounts of foods used in medicine.

The team says lowering blood pressure by that amount is important from the perspective of the U.S. population as a whole.

Indeed, it has been determined that a decrease in systolic blood pressure even by 2 mm Hg. Art. at the population level reduces heart disease by 10%.
