WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The White House said on Thursday it was pleased to see bipartisan interest in Congress in passing antitrust legislation to combat the power of big U.S. technology companies.
Officials from the Biden administration held a “listening session” with experts to discuss “the harm that technology platforms are causing and the need for greater accountability.”
The White House said the United States needs “clear rules of the road so small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs can compete on a level playing field.”
