In accordance with DiversityThe CW has officially welcomed the addition of Australian actor Michael Bishop (Spin) to Superman and Lois. Bishop will now play the role of Jonathan Kent in the upcoming third season of the series, replacing Jordan Elsass, who played the role in the first two seasons. Less than a month ago, it was confirmed that Alsace had decided to leave the series for personal reasons.
Superman and Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Elizabeth Tullock as Lois Lane and Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent. The series also stars Dylan Walsh as General Lane, Emmanuelle Shrike as Lana Lang-Cushing, Eric Valdes as Kyle Cushing, Inda Navarrete as Sarah Cushing, and Vole Parks as John Henry Irons.
“The series shows the couple returning to Smallville to run the Kent family business. Clark and Lois are reacquainted with Lana Lang, a local loan officer who also happens to be Clark’s first love, and her husband, Fire Chief Kyle Cushing,” according to the official synopsis. “Adults aren’t the only ones rekindling old friendships in Smallville, as the Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle’s rebellious daughter, Sara. There’s never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially when Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane, is looking for Superman to defeat a villain or save the day at a moment’s notice. Meanwhile, Superman and Lois’ return to idyllic Smallville is turned upside down when a mysterious stranger enters their lives.”
