The worst performers of the session were Banque Saudi Fransi ( TADAWUL: ), which fell 2.57% or 1.25 points to trade at 47.35 at the close. Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC ( TADAWUL: ) declined 2.44% or 6.60 points to 264.40 while Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company ( TADAWUL: ) declined 2.31% or 0.48 points to end at 264.40. until 20.30.

On the Saudi Stock Exchange, advancers outnumbered decliners (139 to 89), while 21 stocks were flat.

Crude oil for October delivery rose 1.57%, or 1.29, to $83.23 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.95%, or 0.84, to $88.84 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.60%, or 10.45, to $1,717.35 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR fell 0.48% to 3.74, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.

US dollar index futures rose 0.19% to 110.04.
