The cute, adorable, squeezable Mogwai is a dream pet. This capable creature was able to enchant the audience Gremlins back in 1984 and it came back to win more hearts as the next gamer MultiVersus character. I really do have a special place for Gizmo in my messed up horror loving heart. And as befits such a friendly guy, he’ll be a supporting character in your 2v2 game MultiVersus matches. Now you can bring your 80s pet to MultiVersus the ring is with you.
Gizmo is still a fierce little gremlin, so don’t underestimate his abilities in the ring. Official MultiVersus Twitter tweeted a post with Gizmo’s upcoming attacks and abilities, which will see him tagged along with another character to become the ultimate support creature. Gizmo has his “Hunter’s Bow” with Gremlins 2, allowing him to shoot flaming arrows that inflict the Ignite disease. He also has an ability called “Gizmo Go-Go” that will allow him to attach to the backs of allies and provide assistance.
It’s midnight somewhere
Furious Gizmo can also use his disarming grace against enemies with the Mogwai Song ability. This ability, a clear reference to his song in the first Gremlins movie, will cause musical notes to appear that can damage nearby enemies. This is undoubtedly a move that will destroy his enemies thanks to his disarming voice. Gizmo’s support abilities look strong, and he can even attack while linked to an ally with ‘Gizmo Go-Go’.
Gizmo will join the game tomorrow, September 8th, as the second DLC character for MultiVersus. He follows Morty with Rick and Morty duet, and will continue in the first season with Rick (second half Rick and Morty), Black Adam from DC and the evil gremlin from GremlinsA strip.
