Cara Delevingne launched a new collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld amid growing concern for her personal well-being and after claims her family would intervene.

The British model stars in the dramatically shot campaign for CARA LOVES KARL’s ecological capsule collection, designed by Delevingne in collaboration with the German fashion house and available for purchase from September 8.

In a series of bright looks, the 30-year-old ditches her natural light auburn hair color for a bold light blonde bob, modeling each carefully curated piece.

Each item is said to be “crafted from more sustainable and high-quality materials” and features a gender-neutral aesthetic and includes sizes from XXS to XXL.

Commenting on her new collaboration with the iconic German fashion house, she admitted that Lagerfeld, who died aged 85 in 2019, was a key figure in her modeling career.

She said: “I am very proud of the collection I have created with the incredibly talented team at Karl Lagerfeld.

“Carl has been and continues to be an extremely important influence on my life and I am honored to create this collection under his name.

“I think Karl would be very proud that we’ve gone in the direction of ecological genderlessness, and I’d like to imagine he’d even wear some of the items himself. I can’t wait to see how people wear the different pieces we’ve created.”

Delevingne will also star in a 3D campaign in which she and Lagerfeld interact as avatars on a digital playground. 15 dedicated CARA LOVES KARL stores will open in various cities around the world, including Milan, Los Angeles and Paris.

The collection will be available from September 8, 2022 in KARL LAGERFELD stores, on KARL.COM and through selected premium wholesale partners worldwide.

Delevingne fans expressed their concern for the star after she was seen smoking a pipe while sitting alone in a car last week and then looking disheveled and out of place at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles on Monday.

Now her friends and family are looking for ways to help the struggling IT ex-girlfriend.

“We are all incredibly concerned. The situation has been escalating for several weeks and Curry’s family is involved,” a close friend told The Sun on Wednesday.

“There are talks about arranging some kind of intervention and making sure Kara gets the help she might need,” the person added. “She’s been burning the candle at both ends lately, and it’s clearly taking its toll.”

Delevingne’s latest disturbing appearance was on Monday in Los Angeles, looking disheveled and nervous before boarding Jay-Z’s private jet.

According to DailyMail.com’s sources, the cover girl couldn’t control her body movements at certain moments when she was seen on the phone, she bent over, dropped the phone and walked around looking very nervous and like she couldn’t stop.

Delevingne recently spent some time at the Burning Man festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. Sources told DailyMail.com at the time that she did not eat or shower during the event.

A source said: “She’s just spent a few days in the desert, hasn’t eaten that much and looks disheveled because she hasn’t had time to clean up yet.”

He continued: “Her friends tend to worry about her after some erratic behaviour, but she has a good group around her. Her sister was with her at the festival. She wasn’t alone, and she’s holding on.”

The source continued: “Burning Man is not lined with burger vans like other festivals. You throw everything you need in the van and that’s what you have to live on while you’re there. Everything works on the swapping system.”
