Brand new OnePlus 11 Pro design leaked early with notification slider relaunch

It may still be 2022, but an early prototype of the OnePlus 11 Pro phone, which is slated for a 2023 release, is already making a cameo on OnePlus’ design desks, so it’s time for Steve Hammerstoffer of OnLeaks to obtain the schemes on which they are based.

OnePlus 11 Pro camera specifications

It seems that OnePlus 11 Pro rotating camera rumors won’t come true, but there will be a brand new circular camera island design reminiscent of what Vivo’s subsidiary is doing with its latest X80 series of phones.
The round plateau appears to have not one or two, but three camera lenses and a flash for symmetry. Here’s hoping OnePlus finally puts out a high-end zoom camera on the 11 Pro. Not that OnePlus 10 Pro doesn’t offer a 3x telephoto range, but Vivo X80 Pro camera set makes us hope OnePlus 11 Pro camera specs:
  • 8 MP, f/3.4, 1/4.4″, 1.0 µm, PDAF, OIS, 5x optical zoom, periscope camera
  • 50 MP, f/1.6, 1/1.3″, PDAF, laser autofocus, OIS main camera
  • 48 MP, f/2.2, 114˚, 1/2.0″, ultra-wide camera with autofocus
  • 12 MP, f/1.9, 50 mm, 1/2.93″, 1.22 µm, Dual Pixel PDAF, 2x optical zoom, OIS gimbal telecamera
Of course, we’re not expecting gimbal-style stabilization, as that’s Vivo’s trademark, but if OnePlus expects its flagship phones to remain competitive in 2023, it might be better to consider including a periscope zoom kit, as even iPhone 15 Pro Max finally one for Apple will be introduced.

OnePlus 11 Pro design

Not only will the OnePlus 11 Pro get a completely new design with a circular camera island shifted left of center like the X80 series, but the sides will also welcome a good old addition that hasn’t been seen in recent high-end OnePlus phones.

Yes, we are talking about the alert slider which, regardless of its similarity to Apple’s mute feature, has been highly appreciated by OnePlus fans for the convenience it offers and has made OnePlus phones quite unique among their Android counterparts.

The phone’s punchline doesn’t seem to indicate any changes compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro, and it doesn’t need to, since OnePlus already offers one of the best phone displays on its 2022 flagship, which is also likely to be pushed to a 2023 release.
As for the actual handling of OnePlus 11 Pro specs under the hood, expect nothing less than a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with state-of-the-art hardware. Qualcomm X70 The 5G modem is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
A massive 5,000mAh battery is becoming the norm for OnePlus flagships, as is record-breaking fast charging, with the OnePlus 10T reaching 120W and 17 minutes to fully charge from a dead battery. Sounds like a winner at the OnePlus 11 Pro’s expected price of $899, but the release date won’t be until January at the earliest if its predecessor is any indication.
