Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (NASDAQ:BBBY) announced that Laura Crossen has been named interim CFO of the retailer following the death of former CFO Gustavo Arnal last weekend. The appointment took effect on September 5.
Crossen worked at BBBY as senior vice president of finance and chief accounting officer. As interim CFO, Crossen will serve as the company’s interim chief financial officer and will also continue to serve as the company’s chief accounting officer.
Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (BBBY) swung 14.02% lower in early trading on Tuesday and now down more than 70% from levels just over three weeks ago.
