Bajaj Finserv Share Price Today: Hold Bajaj Finserv in your demat? This is how many shares will be credited after the stock split and bonus issue

On Tuesday, Nifty 50 stocks comprising – – traded ex-split and ex-bonus. In case you hold the scrip in your demat account on the date of record, you will be eligible for both these corporate actions.

In July this year, the NBFC announced a 1:1 bonus share issue. The tentative date for this is today and the record date is Wednesday.

Since bonus shares are additional shares awarded as a reward to shareholders in a predetermined proportion, you will be credited with one more share. However, the holding value will remain the same even after bonus shares are distributed.

As for the share split, the face value of the scrip will change from Rs 5 to Re 1. For every share you owned before, you will now own five shares.

If you held one share of Bajaj Finserv, your shareholding will increase by (1x5x2) subject to 5:1 share split and 1:1 bonus shares. For every post-split and bonus share in Bajaj Finserv, you will own 10 shares and their share price will also drop by one-tenth to Rs 1,700 per share.
