Another reputable source claims that a new iPhone 14 color is coming, and it could be soon.
Last week we reported on rumors that Apple is planning to release a new yellow color for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
Now, Bloomberg reporter and well-known Apple whistleblower Mark Gurman has spoken out on the matter. Although he did not confirm the exact color, Gourmet did tweeted that “a new iPhone color is really inevitable.”
As Gurman points out, the company did something similar with the iPhone 13 a year ago, launching a new Alpine Green color to boost sales midway through the flagship phone’s lifecycle. The same was done earlier with the purple iPhone 12.
All in all, it’s only logical that Apple will try something similar and release a new iPhone 14 color around the same time of the year.
Of course, last year’s iPhone 13 color change happened at a special Mac Studio and Studio Display launch event. It doesn’t look like we’ll be getting anything like this until the first half of 2023, so expect a few low-key press releases and videos.
Of course, there are yellow and then there are yellow. If the new iPhone 14 color is indeed yellow, will it be a deep yellowish shade iPhone 11or perhaps a light lemon Pixel 7?
Similar Realme GT Neo 3T and Poco X5 Pro have also gone with yellow hues in recent months.
