Guardians of the Galaxy was shown at the opening of the recently released Thor: Love and Thunderbut a new deleted scene showcases even more of the group’s adventures with Thor.
The last deleted scene (via AV Club), titled “Wasting Time”, is an alternate version of the scene from the original film where the Guardians approach Thor and ask for his help in the battle. In this new scene, the Guardians encourage Thor to join them, noting that the hero who helps will receive a statue for their efforts.

The scene comes courtesy of the upcoming Blu-ray release Thor: Love and Thunder, which is scheduled for September 27. The film will also be available in 4K Ultra HD and DVD. The domestic release will include all-new bonus features, including an audio commentary from director Taika Waititi, deleted scenes and more.
“Part 4 finds Thor on a journey unlike anything he’s ever encountered – a search for inner peace. But his retirement is thwarted by a galactic assassin known as Horus, the Butcher God, who seeks to destroy the gods,” the synopsis reads. “To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of the Valkyrie King, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who—to Thor’s surprise—inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.
